General Services
Initial Office Visit
One hour consultation with the physician. Please arrive at least 45 minutes before your first appointment to do paperwork and start your educational process with our required teaching video. After your appointment, you will receive your first “After Care Sheet” - a therapeutic lifestyle change prescription which will cover everything you need to do to recover or to maintain your health. Our front office staff will carefully guide you through your complete After Care Sheet with its many levels of instructions.
Natural Hormone Therapies
For over twenty years, I have been managing women and men in bio-identical, safe, monitored hormone restoration. We are well versed in graduated bio-identical hormone replacement methods. Any author on hormones is OLD news to me. In other words, I and my staff have dozens of years experience in real life patient outcomes. Everyone is unique and requires experience in managing their natural hormone needs as well as being available for change as they age.
Anti Aging Medicine
This is just “being” a good doctor. Doctor, in Latin, means “teacher”. An accomplished master of a body of information, which I have along with my colleagues. I have my diplomat from the American Academy of Anti-Aging. I lecture nationally and internationally on a wide range of topics. I have published on these matters, contributed to the anti-aging textbook for medical students, and written a concise treaty on detoxification. My staff co-published with me. They lecture and have joined me in textbook contributions. From understanding hormone growth, to hormone use, to the intricacies of cell membrane repair, we address all of you.
First Line Therapy (FLT)
An educational training, meal planning, medical food and nutrient support program prescribed by your doctor and managed by our trained nursing staff.
Therapeutic Lifestyle Change (TLC)
This refers to our general approach, now recognized by medical literature as the FIRST and most important foundation of health care; to address your life habbits of eating, exercise, hydration, sleep, and more.
We have excellent nurses trained especially under our supervision as physicians to determine your body composition (see BIA) and metabolic rate. We calculate your calories and food selection categories and track your improvement in lean mass and fat loss.

Vitamin and Nutrient Supplementation
The products we carry are clinically tested, many of which I have published on myself regarding their ability to restore the cell membrane, improve labs indicating stress on the system such as cardiovascular stress indicated by elevated homocysteine and HSCRP.
These are my prescriptions (orders) and not suggestions. Just as if I order a blood pressure medication, my nutrient prescription sheet is signed by myself as a physician to correct your health problems. I cannot manage your care by using the vitamins at common stores which are not FDA evaluated or monitored for clinical outcome. As I see improvement on lab test and your wellbeing, I reduce medications safely with follow up if possible and nutrients can be reduced or removed.
Our vitamin shop staff are very helpful but only the recommendations of your physician are to be followed. They can provide you with literature, cd's, dvd's, my book “Detox Outside the Box”, and publications that will give you further information on the products and therapies prescribed.
Hydration with Alkaline Water
We test your home and/or office water samples for acidity. Water, H2O, is not stable and degenerates into free radical H+ (hydrogen ions) and OH- (hydroxyl ions) in your bottles for drinking and cooking. These free radicals are hurting or oxidizing your cell membranes. These free radicals of H+ and OH- are too small for any filter to remove. They must be removed by a different method of purification. We provide the process to do this for our patients. Our trained hydration specialist will evaluate and track your improvement as you begin to protect yourself from oxidizing water.
I.V. Therapy
Chelation I.V.
We use these to test your level of heavy toxic metals such as lead, mercury, aluminum, uranium, and many more. The process of removing these heavy metals is known as “chelation”.
An amino acid, E.D.T.A. is in the water solution with vitamins, trace nutrients, and extra B12. The process takes 1 1/2 hours. All the urine you pass from the start of the chelation to six hours later is collected. The total volume is measured and a sample sent to the laboratory to determine the amount and type of metals found in your body.
Read my book “Detox Outside the Box” and learn how these metals are in all of us. They only continue to build up and injure our blood vessels and cell membranes. These metals, at low levels, are associated with about 70% of all cancer deaths and about 50% of all cardiovascular related deaths. With chelation therapies, we can clean up your body by removing the heavy metal burden.
Immune Drip I.V.
We can help your immune system more rapidly restore itself by giving you vitamin C above what your stomach can handle. Taking high dose vitamin C orally will cause loose stools. We know from The Academy of Sciences, and experience as physicians, that vitamin C will inhibit viruses of the common cold or flu and rapidly restore your health. We always add immune boosting multi nutrients and B12 with this I.V. as well.
Other Drips, I.V.
Your physician may order other nutrients such as magnesium to relax the muscles of migraine headaches or any other muscle spasms. Other I.V. treatments may include antioxidant and high dose nutrients to rapidly target deficiencies.
Laboratory Routines & Testing
Standard Laboratory Routine
These are blood tests commonly available at labs to develop a true picture of your current level of health. These include familiar studies such as your comprehensive metabolic panel, or “chemistries”. This tells us your fasting glucose, salts, calcium, kidney and liver enzymes, etc. Also your complete blood count and lipid (cholesterol) profile.
Other labs commonly done are thyroid panels to include more in depth evaluation pf your free T3/T4 and thyroid antibodies. Less commonly do physicians order homocysteine and HS-CRP. We have been ordering these routinely for over 15 years. They are cardiovascular risk studies. We also check vitamin D3 levels, hemoglobin A.C., fructosamine, sedimentation rate, and hormone levels for both men and women. Of course, your physician may order other routine labs as your unique situation dictates.
Specialty Laboratory Panels
We use a variety of unique labs to evaluate your health. Some of these include your antioxidant profile, also known as “spectracell”. This tells us your level of multiple antioxidants such as vitamin A, E, C, glutathione, lipoid acid, CoQ10 and many others.
Red blood cell mineral analysis looks INSIDE your cells to see if the minerals and salts from your comprehensive metabolic serum panel actually cross your cell membranes and get inside your cells to do their special work. It also tells us if toxic metals are present. I will tell you now they are in 100% of everyone I test.
Complete digestive stool analysis measures how well you digest your food, yeast, ova and parasites, enzyme content, bile acids, predominant bacteria content and more.
The 24 hour urine iodine challenges have shown us as physicians that as many as 97.8% of all patients tested are Iodine deficient.
Our Immuno food laboratory measures IgG food sensitivities which are the slow reacting substances of gut inflammation or injury. Most patients have foods that are typically good organic foods which they are uniquely sensitive too. We find out what these are and teach you how to repair your gut and avoid these foods. Other special labs are available and will be determined by your physician at the time of your appointment.
Diagnostics & Testing
Thermography
This is an infra-red camera that detects heat patterns. It is FDA approved over 25 years. It is a non invasive means (more physiologic way) to look for the increased heat of blood vessel supply to an emerging or new growing cancer. This will NOT squeeze or radiate your breasts like mammograms do.
Breast trauma and radiation are both known to be associated with casual relationships to breast cancer. Mammograms can only detect AFTER a cancer is prominent enough to be seen.
Thermography is an early detection screen for the heat (inflamation) of breast tissue damage and is able to pick up on this long before a mammogram.
Cardiovascular Profile (CVP)
Long before you develop high blood pressure or any cardiovascular disease, a CVP can detect stiffening of the tiny capillary blood vessels. As the heart pumps blood out into the large vessels, it travels each second to smaller and even tinier capillary blood vessels that offer resistance to the volume of blood in each pump. The tiny capillaries are easily damaged and plugged with poor life styles in hydration, diet, and toxins. We can check this for you to determine how well these tiny capillaries are handling each volume of blood long before symptoms of disease start.
Bio-Impedence Analysis (BIA)
We can more accurately guide you to health with knowledge of your body composition of lean mass, fat mass, and water mass. To determine your dietary needs for protein, with its essential fats, water, and carbohydrate needs; we measure this using the BIA. This is based on the ease of a tiny flow of electric current from limb to limb. This current flows fast through water and protein. Your muscles and organs are made up of mostly protein and water. Thus if the flow of current is fast, having little resistance, you have a good lean protein and water composition. Your total weight is then largely made of good organ and muscle mass. If the flow of this current is slower, you have too much insulating fat. Electricity doesn't flow well at all through fat. This is how we can help track your weight loss to be sure you are in fact losing fat and not water or protein mass. Note: People with pace makers/defribulators cannot use this test.
