Priya Patel PA-C earned a Bachelor of Science in Premedical Health Sciences from MCPHS University in Boston, MA in 2014. She then completed the physician assistant program at MCPHS University and earned her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2016. PA Patel is board certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
After starting her career in the urgent care, PA Patel found herself dissatisfied with conventional approaches. Instead, Patel felt that most of her patients needed further education regarding lifestyle, nutrition and stress management. She decided to pursue integrative and functional medicine practices so she could thoroughly discuss these important factors with her patients and take a proactive approach to healing rather than be reactive/chase symptoms with pharmaceuticals. She has a desire to evaluate the underlying cause of symptoms, prevent chronic illness and provide an improved quality of life.
After shadowing at Tustin Longevity Center, PA Patel knew this was where she was meant to practice. She was hired as the clinic’s physician assistant, and guides her patients to good health through an individualized approach, focusing on holistic, natural therapies and integrating conventional, western medicine when needed.
